Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Programs, Inc. (WPI) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Durham, NC. The succesful candidate will be responsible for performing duties concerning the inspection of executed tasking in Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, and Automation related areas. They will also ensure that the final product of work is compliant with local state and national codes and is also in agreement with supplied work plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routinely assesses, work performed by technical staff to ensure quality of final product
• Works with in-house staff and subcontractors to make necessary correctios as result of inspections
• Acts as a representative to the Quality Manager in executing milestone inspections of in progress projects.
• Routinely walks several miles daily in execution of inspection tasking.
• Assist in review of project work plans for compliance prior to client submittal.
• Performs other duties as assigned by lead or management staff

Skills / Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in quality control inspection, reviewing plans, and specifications
• Experience in the following environments: campus style; laaboratory, data center, administrative and childcare facilities
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
