About the job

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or nurse supervisor, the Certified Nursing Assistant will assist the RN in medical procedures and other rehabilitative activities assigned for each resident.

Duties

• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment for the residents
• Monitor and record resident vital signs, height and weight, weight gain/loss and fluid intake/output accurately
• Wake up residents, assist with morning grooming and move resident to dining room as needed
• Assists patient with prescribed exercises as necessary
• Ensure rooms are safe, clean, and ready for receiving families and staff 
• Effectively communicate necessary changes in residents’ changes to the Registered Nurse or charged nurse
• Maintain a culture of safety and quality

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• 18 years old and above
• Physically fit to lift, transfer or move patients
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
