Wood County Hospital is Hiring a RN - Cardiac Rehabilitation (Per Diem) Near Bowling Green, OH
Job Duties:
- Perform patient assessments, planning, implementation, education of patient cardiovascular disease, risk modifications and outcome evaluations
- Manage Cardiac Rehabilitation Information, i.e. order verification, insurance verification coverage, patient scheduling, billing and charge auditing
- Demonstrates knowledge of exercise modalities for Cardiac Rehab patients
- Facilitates education classes and physical exercise sessions in a safe environment
- Ensures safety of patients during monitored exercise sessions through health assessment, medication compliance verification, ECG interpretation and management and transfer to higher level of care as deemed necessary
Minimum Requirements:Minimum Education:
- Graduate of an accredited or other recognized nursing program
- 2 years of critical care nursing experience required
- Cardiac rehab nursing experience preferred
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio
- BLS certified
- ACLS certified
