Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph.

Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

• A minimum of (6) years of experience as a Systems Engineer AND a Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • In lieu of a degree, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of (10) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area)
• A minimum of (4) years of experience as a Systems Engineer AND a Ph.D. or Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university

Required Skills

• Ability to learn an open-source code quality tool used for continuous inspection of code quality to perform automatic reviews with static analysis of code to detect bugs and code smells on 29 programming languages. 
• Ability to learn a powerful static code analysis tool designed to help developers detect and fix code issues early in development. 
• Jira experience overseeing and responding to customer tickets. 
• Basic Linux Administration experience and/or Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) experience is a plus. 
• Manages changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes. 
• Prepares and reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs). 
• Supports security authorization activities in compliance with Information System Certification and Accreditation Process and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP). 

Desired Certifications

• Security CE, Network , or A

Additional Beneficial Skills and Willingness to Learn but not required 

• Opportunity for development to include some scripting and coding
• Basic Linux Programming to include Python, JavaScript and/or Java
