PURPOSE:

The Manager, IT Services & Support provides management of the day-to-day functions of the Corporate IT area at Wondr Health. The position works with the business leaders to anticipate and fulfill the technology requirements for employees and contractors who serve the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization's corporate hardware/software.
  • Source vendors for best pricing for all IT equipment and services
  • Manage the shipping, storage, and distribution of IT assets to remote employees.
  • Manage the day-to-day technology support operations of Wondr Health including the outside technical support vendor.
  • Manage the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, PC's, software, operating systems, and printers.
  • Work with the Manager of Security & Compliance to provide security documentation for HITRUST and SOC-2 audits in the corporate IT environment.
  • Ensure all security processes are followed and documented.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of corporate IT projects with outside vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the development and content for the organizational SharePoint intranet.
  • Manage support cases of both Apple and Microsoft laptops.
  • Manage all day-to-day corporate IT functions including equipment procurement, account creation, licensing, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage and maintain a full-lifecycle inventory of all IT assets.
  • Assist monitoring and managing system performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Assist end users as necessary for hardware and software related support issues and manage support requests with external IT support vendor.
  • Manage the disposal of retired IT assets following the Asset Disposal Policy.
  • Manage all corporate IT related equipment including AV platforms, copiers, printers, monitors, docking stations.
  • Develop new network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs.
  • Recommends the selection and acquisition of hardware, software, and IT-related services and equipment.
  • Ensure data backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.
  • Documents network problems and resolutions for future reference.
  • Supervise employee moves within the office and office relocation projects with HR and Facilities.
  • Manage other corporate IT projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of HITRUST & SOC-2 a plus.
  • Previous experience with vendor management to include sourcing & pricing.
  • Ability to understand and apply knowledge of network concepts, techniques, and principles.
  • Knowledge of computing and networking concepts, techniques, and principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer systems and equipment.
  • Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers (both Apple & Microsoft), networks, and related hardware and software.
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
  • Ability to interact tactfully and courteously with outside vendors and to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish and meet deadlines.
  • Effectively manage multiple issues using a variety of tools
  • Able to withstand frequent interruptions.
  • Accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT services.
  • Professional written and people skills to best communicate with customers and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field is preferred. Industry-specific certification in relevant computer languages or software may be required.

Experience:

  • 5 – 7years of relevant experience in a client-driven position involving technical knowledge of a company’s products and services.
  • Experience working with network servers, virtual servers, different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS.
  • Experience in network design and implementation.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues, documenting problems and solutions, and prioritizing problems.
  • Experience anticipating and assessing the impact of issues.

GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

General office working conditions can be remote work from home or in the office. Each department head determines if position is work from home or hybrid meaning works from home and in the office as needed. Work schedules vary. When working in the office pod workstation area has little or no privacy. Involves extended periods of sitting at a workstation performing computer duties. Constant flow of interruptions by personnel, visitors to the area and telephone calls. Private workstations are available as needed. Certain positions are assigned to an office.
