About the role

In this role, you will serve as a Supervisor on our sanitation team at our Commissary Kitchen. You will be responsible overseeing staff to ensure a clean environment in accordance with Food Safety and Sanitation regulations. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Comply with health and sanitation procedures and support overall cleanliness and maintenance of the workplace
• Complete daily tasks assigned by the Manager on duty
• Oversee and participate in washing and sanitizing all areas including restrooms, offices, kitchens and conference spaces
• Check machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Oversee and participate in the sanitization of common areas, including floors, walls, countertops, furniture and restrooms
• Lead and delegate tasks to Supervisors and Associates and report progress and issues to Manager

• Pay Rate: $26/hr
• Job location: Cranford, NJ
• Full-time and Part-time available

Qualifications & Skills

• 2 yrs of sanitation/janitorial experience working in, but not limited to, a restaurant, hotel, or large facility environment
• Comfortable working in various temperatures including cold and hot environments
• Must be able to stand for a full shift while working
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to read, write and count
• Must have some weekend availability
• Sense of urgency
• Ability to motivate and delegate
• Ability to assist in multiple areas across the shift
• Previous experience leading 4 or more employees
• Previous experience delegating specific tasks
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Prior experience cleaning kitchen, production, or equivalent equipment 
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
