About the role

We are looking for a certified Forklift Operator to participate in our distribution center operations and activities. The forklift Operator is responsible for running and managing cherry pickers, sitting down forklifts, and standing up reach machines. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Other warehouse duties may be required as needed
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

“Job Title” role details

• Salary: $24/hr
• Job location:  Fairfield, NJ 
• Morning Shift: 6am-6pm (Must be available to work during these hours but will get a set 8-hour shift) 
• Weekends are required 
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs 

The experience you have

• • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
  • Proficient inventory management systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Proven working experience as a forklift operator preferably in a warehouse environment minimum of 2 years.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing multiple types of forklifts and inventory management systems
  • Proficient in desktop and mobile device inventory management systems
  • Must be forklift certified
