Women's Pelvic Restorative Center is Hiring a Patient Services Representative Near Webster, TX

Women’s Pelvic Restorative Center is the largest center staffed solely by fellowship-trained board certified Specialists in a private practice setting. Our doctors and dedicated staff seek to provide women with the highest level of care for female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. We are looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our team!

SUMMARY

Greets, instructs and directs patients and visitors; Check in/out patients efficiently and smoothly in a professional manner. Provide excellent customer service to both patients and co-workers to promote patient retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
  • Check in patients, verifies all demographic and insurance information with patient at time of check-in and update patient account if needed.
  • Assist new patients in completing all necessary paperwork
  • Direct patients to update new insurance charges or to make financial agreements
  • Schedule patient visits and communicate with clinical staff regarding patient scheduling (i.e. late arrivals, cancelled appointments, etc.)
  • Schedule patients return appointments.
  • Verify patient's insurance.
  • Answer phones to respond to inquiries made by patients, vendors, insurance companies, and other medical facilities.
  • Screen and route patient calls to other departments efficiently, ensuring accurate registration and scheduling in the database.
  • Participate when necessary with other staff members to seek account resolution.
  • Completes all daily activity reports at end of scheduled shift.
  • Participates in educational and developmental activities.
  • Maintain patient flow
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines.
  • Other duties as required

EXPERIENCE

  • 1 years in a Medical Office Experience
  • 1 year of Front Desk Experience
  • 1 year of Athena EMR Experience (Preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proactive mindset and outgoing personality
  • Exceptional phone manner
  • Ability to apply knowledge of office procedures and carry out tasks accordingly
  • Be a self-starter with attention to detail
  • Must be flexible, organized, and function well under pressure

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
