SANE/Forensic Nurse
This position is partly funded by contracts and is subject to annual renewal.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The SANE/ Forensic nurse is part of a mobile team available to respond to Brevard County area hospitals or to the Women’s Center Exam Center to conduct forensic examinations/evidence collection for victims of sexual assault.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, bending, traveling to outside meetings, regular use of standard office equipment such as the telephone, copier, fax and computer. Demands also involve protracted concentration. Reliable transportation is required. Job involves frequent interactions with internal and external customers, and routinely intense public contact. This position involves handling of and exposure to blood, urine, bodily fluids, and possible pathogens.
