The Physical Therapy Tech assists in the delivery of therapy services under the supervision of a Manager and licensed staff Physical Therapist. This includes assisting with the cleaning and logging of equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Past experience in clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Administers high quality physical therapy care efficiently as planned and directed under the supervisor of a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist.
• Assists patients/clients with the prescribed exercise program in an effective manner.
• Demonstrates competency in the application, utilization and monitoring of appropriate modalities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist to include, but not limited to electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold pack application and lymphatic drainage via pump.
• Cleans equipment and maintains logs (cleaning, temperature, and refrigerator).
• Assists with ordering supplies and equipment, through appropriate secretarial staff.
• Assists with data entry for the discharge process to ensure completion of patient information.
• Any other duties as assigned by Woman’s Hospital.

Part-Time

Monday – Friday; schedule will vary

Pay Range:

Hourly/Non-Exempt

$17.00 – $24.00; based on work experience
