Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: - Assist the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee performance - Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience - Train, develop, and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service - Monitor and maintain proper stock levels to meet customer demands - Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process of new team members - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures - Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions - Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving store performance - Maintain a clean and organized store environment Skills: - Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others - Proficient in retail math calculations for sales analysis and inventory management - Experience operating a cash register and handling cash transactions accurately - Proven ability to train and develop employees to achieve sales targets - Excellent negotiation skills for vendor interactions and product pricing - Knowledge of stock management principles to ensure proper inventory levels - Ability to conduct effective interviews to identify qualified candidates - Bilingual proficiency is a plus for effective communication with diverse customers - Demonstrated sales skills with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth - Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and resolving issues Join our team as a Retail Assistant Manager and enjoy competitive pay, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive work environment.
