Wolverine Truck Group is a reputable and established Freightliner and Western Star dealerships specializing in trucks and commercial vehicles in the Detroit Metro area. We are looking for a dedicated Sales Porter to join our team. If you are a motivated individual with a CDL-B license and a passion for trucks, we want you to be a part of our dynamic team.

Job Duties:

As a Sales Porter at Wolverine Truck Group, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

CDL-B License: Possess and maintain a valid CDL-B license to operate manual semi-trucks for various tasks, including moving inventory and preparing vehicles for delivery.

Vehicle Preparation: Ensure all new and used trucks are meticulously prepared for delivery, including cleaning, detailing, and inspecting the vehicles to meet our quality standards.

Vehicle Delivery Assistance: Assist in the efficient and safe delivery of new and used trucks to customers, ensuring they receive their vehicles in excellent condition.

Test Drive Support: Collaborate with the service department by providing assistance during test drives after the vehicles have been serviced.

Parts Delivery Assistance: Work closely with the parts department to help with deliveries and maintain a high level of organization and efficiency in parts logistics.

Inventory Maintenance: Regularly maintain and organize the lot inventory to ensure a clean and well-organized appearance, making it easy for customers to browse our selection.

Overall Appearance: Maintain the overall appearance of the dealership lot, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A valid CDL-B license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate manual semi-trucks.
• A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality vehicle appearance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for trucks and a customer-focused approach.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
