Job Title: Treasury Accountant

• Location: Remote Required to sit in PST
• Pay Range: $38.00/hr - $40.00hr
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
• Duration: 6 month opportunity that can extend to PERM
• Requirements: BS in Accounting and investment accounting experience

Job Description:

• Prepare month-end close journal entries for treasury-related transactions across the enterprise particularly for investment transactions, investment management fees, bank fees, treasury vendor payments and funds transfers initiated by Treasury
• Prepare detailed month-end reports for investment income and bank fees, and reconcile to summary figures reported by accounting during monthly close meetings
• Support the preparation of Investment Reports for the Investment Committee and Finance Committee
• Ensure timely processing payment of all Treasury related bills including: collecting and processing all treasury-related invoices from banks, investment managers, and other outside vendors, and ensuring payment by the appropriate AP department
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for investment balances, income, and other investment transactions between Aladdin database, Oracle GL, and bank statements
• Draft and maintain treasury business processes in the areas of investment management and treasury accounting
• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
• Coordinate with other treasury staff and outside resources to provide meaningful, fact-based analysis and reports to drive efficient and effective decision-making
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in investment accounting performing month-end close
• Strong knowledge in fixed-income securities, investments in general, and performance analysis
• Experience working with investment accounting technology platforms especially Blackrock Aladdin
• Experience working with Oracle platform
• Strong communication skills including effective written, oral and presentation
• Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to effectively convey information to various levels within the Enterprise, as well as third parties
• Ability to solve problems creatively, offering alternative solutions as appropriate
• Strong time and resource management abilities
• Knowledge of health care industry issues preferred

Required Skills:

• Investment accounting, investment accounting technology platforms (Blackrock Aladdin, Clearwater, etc), Oracle financials platform
• BS in Accounting

Certification:

Certified Treasury Professional preferred
