Maintenance Technician

Wolf and Kline Property Management specializes in full-service property management and real estate services to fit the needs of a landlord or homeowner.

Our properties include a variety of units which are managed for owners. The Maintenance Technician will work as part of a team responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance of the apartments, homes, buildings, grounds, and turnovers. The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the necessary work is completed and coordinates with other Wolf and Kline staff to provide a safe and positive living experience for all tenants. Lage portion of this position will be working int he Mechanicsburg, PA area. Will also need to travel to other property locations in the Lancaster and Lebanon areas.

Position Status: nonexempt, hourly position

Supervisor: Operations Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Average of 40-45 hours per week

Expectations

• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner and update, document using an I Pad
• Provides information to maintenance and turnover coordinators.
• Familiar with general property maintenance requirements.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair general property maintenance problems. Including appliances, light electrical and plumbing. Main focus will be with our turnover properties.
• Able to work on ladders, and to be able to move about in tight areas.
• Snow removal.
• Ability to meet consistent attendance.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Able to drive to various locations throughout the Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin and Cumberland counties. A company vehicle is provided.
• Participate in the rotating After Hours Call schedule.
• Customer service focused.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience with residential repairs including carpentry, drywall, basic electric, plumbing, and appliance repair.

High school diploma or GED.

Residential property maintenance or management experience preferred.

A valid driver’s license is required with a clean driving history.

Employee would provide hand tools.

A company issued work vehicle will be supplied.

Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, friendly, work well in a team and to be reliable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
