Woburn Foreign Auto Body is Hiring an Auto Body Technician Near Woburn, MA
We are looking for an experienced A Level tech for our extremely busy collision facility. Must be clean, efficient, organized and motivated. I-Car certification is a plus.
The shop is newly renovated, clean, and air conditioned, with state of the art Car-O-Liner frame equipment and welders. We have OEM certifications and offer on going trainings, and have a team oriented culture.
Prior auto body experience is preferred.
Salary is based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs including dent repair, painting, and refinishing.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to complete vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Conduct auto body restoration and assembly work.
- Use sheet metal and soldering techniques for repair and fabrication.
- Detail vehicles to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Work with power tools for various repair and restoration tasks.
- Utilize dealership experience and MIG welding skills for specialized projects.
- Handle auto glass installation and repair as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions.
- Estimate auto repair costs accurately.
- Be prepared for heavy lifting tasks as required.
- Utilize I-CAR Certification to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Apply auto painting techniques, including airless paint spraying.
- Draw on mechanic experience to troubleshoot and repair automotive issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in auto body repair, including auto restoration, auto painting, and vehicle maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for automotive repair tasks
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and processes related to auto body work
- Experience with MIG welding and fabrication techniques
- I-CAR Certification or equivalent certification in auto body repair
- Previous dealership experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with clients
- Familiarity with auto estimating and airless paint spraying techniques
- Background in automotive repair and assembly processes
