Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Floor Sander Foreman to join our team. This role oversees 3-4 employees.*

As a Floor Sander, you are responsible for preparing surfaces for finishing by removing imperfections and creating a smooth, even texture. Your attention to detail and expertise in sanding techniques will contribute to the overall quality of our projects.

Duties:
- Perform sanding and installation of Hardwood Flooring
- Use hand and power tools to remove imperfections, such as bumps, scratches, and rough spots
- Ensure surfaces are properly prepared for finishing by filling cracks, holes, and gaps as needed
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment while working
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within specified deadlines
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and properly store tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sander and hardwood installer
- Proficient in using sanding tools and equipment
- Knowledge of different types of surfaces and appropriate sanding techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

*I am not looking for someone that helped their uncle install a floor one time and now you are applying for a lead role. I am looking for someone that has been with another hardwood company for several years and is ready to fire up a Hummel and go to work. I have been in this business a long time and I will know your experience based on a 5 minute phone call.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
