Our Foam manufacturing facility located in Phoenix, AZ is currently hiring for CDL Class A / Box Truck Driver
JOB SUMMARY
The CDL/Box Truck Driver - Class A is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers using both Class A vehicles and box trucks. This role is key to maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellent customer service, ensuring that good reach their destinations efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Safely operate Class A vehicles and box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring safety and integrity of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections, refuel, clean vehicles, and report any mechanical issues to maintenance staff.
• Immediately report any road incidents to the dispatcher or supervisor
• Maintain accurate logs of driving activity, cargo records, and compliance with electronic logging devices (ELD units)
• Ensure that goods are delivered on schedule to meet customer expectations
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude during customer interactions
• Other duties as assigned

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Adherence to safety guidelines and traffic laws
• Accuracy of cargo and log records
• Customer satisfaction and timeliness of deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL is required
• At least 1 year of experience driving a box/pup truck
• Must have a valid medical examiner card
• Clean MVR report for the last 3 years
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Driving in various traffic and weather conditions
• Loading and unloading goods of varying sizes and weights
