The Fitness Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the fitness goals and overall well-being of our residents and customers. This position will provide essential assistance in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment while ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include aiding in the execution of fitness programs, assisting residents and customers with equipment operation, and promoting a positive and motivating atmosphere conducive to achieving fitness objectives.

Schedule:

• Part-time, 12 hours/pay period

Responsibilities:

• Process new member applications.
• Update insurance reimbursement portals.
• Create new member log ins under the QR, HUR System.
• Update and manage current members for HUR training programs.
• Create and submit monthly usage reports.
• Complete new member machine orientations and set up.
• Assist members with any equipment needs.
• Assist Fitness Specialist with approved member training.
• Demonstrate professional and courteous conduct with all customers.\
• Ensure the Fitness Center areas are clean and safe at all times.
• Maintain a professional appearance adhering to the departmental dress code.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of services.
• Communicate effectively with other disciplines, family members, physicians, and customers.
• Follow policies and procedures for quality of life, person-centered care, and trauma informed care according to role specific responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or education is a plus.
Required Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a fitness or senior living setting.
