WITRON Service America LP is Hiring a Sanitation Technician (Nights) Near Forest, GA

General Summary

The sanitation department is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that the building is maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs general labor to support operation requirements as needed
  • Sweeping, mopping, picking up and emptying of receptacles
  • General warehouse maintenance as needed
  • Cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms
  • Process trash removal and corrugated scraps
  • Fills supplies as needed
  • Cleaning of the dock area
  • Cleaning of machinery on the floor during PM
  • Performs other tasks/duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year custodial experience
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Previous warehouse environment cleaning experience preferred

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills
  • Basic knowledge of safe handling of cleaning products
  • High performance orientation, sense of urgency about work
  • Ability to work independently and/or within a team environment

Scheduling & Travel

  • Must be able to travel locally and internationally as needed
  • Flexibility to work shifts as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to adapt to temperature changes in an ambient distribution center
  • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50-60 lbs
  • Ability to work at heights up to 90 feet
