Job Summary:

Evaluate, maintain, and repair production equipment to ensure accurate testing of products and functionality of process.

Responsibilities:

• Promote a safe working environment on the Production floor.
• Support Production, Quality, and technical teams effectively, acting as a liaison and employing strong communication skills is essential.
• Achieve 100% machine efficiency, performing basic troubleshooting of machines and equipment. Ensure equipment and work floor are clean and well maintained.
• Complete Run/Done Procedures.
• Ensure optimal machine performance, conducting daily and long-term efficiency audits, setting goals, and utilizing time studies.
• Daily review and support of production schedule.
• Perform training with team lead, supervisors, and operators.
• Support Engineering Technicians.
• Document machine set-up instructions and Engineering Set-up Instructions.
• Problem solving

Qualifications:

• Being competent and trained to troubleshoot and set up machines, crucial for maintaining smooth operations and maximizing productivity.
• Ability to test new products and communicate upward.
• Knowledge of Blueprints and GD&T
• Experienced with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, other)
• Experienced with hand tools, basic machining, and other shop equipment.
• Basic knowledge of vision software (Cognex, DVT).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic computer skills
• Electronics experience
• Mechanically inclined

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
