With a Little Help is Hiring a Care Coordinator/Scheduler for In-Home Caregiver Agency Near Seattle, WA

Job Summary: Responsible for scheduling caregivers and client care as well as communicating with clients, families, and caregivers regarding care needs. This position requires heavy phone and email interaction, excellent communication skills, organization, patience, empathy and a desire to help the elderly and other vulnerable populations.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Work in conjunction with Care Coordinator team to oversee scheduling and caregiver communication regarding client care details and schedule changes.
  • Build new, and manage existing client schedules, update the client files and schedules correctly and communicate these details clearly to the clients and their families.
  • Foster relationships with clients and caregivers by listening to, and providing regular guidance, feedback and supervision to care team including hearing client concerns and supporting caregivers with any daily challenges.
  • Carry on-call cell phone on rotating basis (additional compensation).

Secondary Job Duties:

  • Other responsibilities may include getting cross trained to support other operational functions such as recruiting and onboarding and client intakes.
  • Interest and ability to do some fill in caregiving is an added plus.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent with experience in senior care, health care, or social services – previous caregiving experience is a plus!
  • Strong attention to detail and the demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, manage time and multi-task
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, and a solid understanding of computers
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively over the phone, including with individuals whose first language is not English
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass a criminal background check and driving record with no disqualifying events

Schedule: Primarily Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with some room for flexibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
