Wise Connect, Inc./Gridsource Inc., LLC, has an opening for a Warehouse Associate in the Fredericksburg TX area.

A warehouse associate/material handler handles, moves, and stores various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse. Their main duties include loading and unloading different transport items, recording inventory statuses, and making sure deliveries properly match purchase orders. Must be able to operate forklift. Verify accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries. Keep a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory. Maintain availability of material.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of inventory and tracking process
• Inspecting and reporting issues for damages or loss
• Able to obtain material from clients in short notice.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Proficient in office365 Suite
• Able to maintain inventory within system of record.
• Able to operate forklift and move material – certification a must.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Accepting delivery of inventory.
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors to relevant parties.
• Marking and labeling stock.
• Storing inventory in an accessible manner.
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
• Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Breakdown all boxes and trash to maximize dumpster space and maintain cleanliness of yard.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
• Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
• Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
• Strong people skills.
• Good moral character.
• Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours.
