Job Summary:
*
Sales forecasting, scheduling, achieving performance metrics, providing outstanding customer service and ordering (product/supplies)

• Treating customers with respect, acknowledging their patronage, assisting in the location of items, and handling of customer complaints diplomatically and sincerely.
• Development of staff (recruiting, hiring, coaching, teaching, training, and cross training) and enforcement of all store policies and procedures.
• Maintaining proper store conditions including but not limited to signage, clean and neat merchandising, cleaning, store maintenance, and complying with all regulatory agencies.
• Inventory management and proper rotation.
• P & L management
• Schedule Flexibility.
• Growing profitable sales
• Quickly address areas of opportunity
• Reviewing all communications
• Ensuring all deadlines are met (cash deposits, reports, projects, etc.) by specified timelines.
• Use of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Whatever needs to be done to ensure that all timelines are met (ordering, receiving, computer work, etc.)

Retail Store Manager (Requirements):

• Two years of retail leadership experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager
• Self-driven and motivated with the ability to collaborate with others well.
• Must be available some evenings, weekends, & holidays
• This is a salaried position with varying hours.
• Takes initiative to reach new levels of performance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; Bi-lingual a plus.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record in-store management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Experience in retail loss prevention.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• High School Diploma combined with prior experience in retail store.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Experience in the thrift store industry or non-profit sector is a plus.
• Strong recommendations from previous supervisors.
