Title: Infrastructure DevOps Engineer Location: Atlanta, GA (can be remote) Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension) Implementation Partner: Infosys End Client: To be Disclosed JdOver 7 years of experience Management of a nationwide, complex Microsoft ECM/SCOM Infrastructure for a leading Communications Technology company. You will be a team-oriented, Knowledge-sharing, documentation producing team member who is passionate about all things ECM/SCOM. Duties And ResponsibilitiesSCOM
Perform administrative tasks from the Operation Manager console, provide application support for the SCOM platform and create and maintain monitoring and notification rules, including performance tuning of management packs, development of custom management packs and overrides.
Review and update SCOM console security, apply patches, create SCOM console roles and reviews, and create and install custom Management Packs (MP) as needed.
Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations.
Work closely with a Business Technology peers and management emphasizing collaboration and joint effort to ensure that the needs and expectations of organizational stake holders, business partners, external customers, and third-party organizations are met and/or exceeded.
Strong communication skills to maintain accurate system documentation and provide training as required.
Experience using the Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripting engine to automate tasks with SCOM.
Other SCOM related duties as assigned.
ECM
Assess existing ECM infrastructure to provide recommendations, and research and integrate new technologies or upgrades that will improve the overall quality of service while reducing total cost of ownership
Ensures MECM is current with latest system builds, hotfixes, server operating systems, admin consoles and client updates using Department's Change Management process.
Knowledge and experience around Intune and Tenant Attached functionalities in ECM are required.
Work with necessary internal resources on Security and Compliance requirements including potential cleanup tasks of orphaned objects (collections, packages, policies, etc.)
Recommend, justify, and implement improvements using an accepted change control methodology.
Design and deliver creative solutions and resolve problems in a timely and proactive manner while collaborating within a diverse group.
Ensure timely deployment of software updates, critical patches, and out-of-band releases, including leading in/participating in the resolution of failed software updates, troubleshooting up to identification/documentation of root cause, and ensuring affecting systems are returned to production operation as soon as possible.
Fully maintain a provided functional lab environment as your test bed for any configuration changes, software updates/patches
Create and edit scripts for issues ranging from software installation to system configuration
Supports and administers the critical services provided by the Information Technology Management section
Ability to research CVE's, research and develop mitigations for deployment at scale
Understand CMDB inventory management
Other ECM related duties as assigned
CompetenciesFamiliarity with scripting languages, primarily PowerShell Basic Understanding of T-SQL Team Player with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills.
