Overview:
North Bay Nissan in Petaluma, CA is seeking a motivated and organized Used Car Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales leads from our CRM system, as well as generating their own leads through platforms such as Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. This position offers $18.00 per hour plus an additional a tiered bonus program, and includes benefits such as medical, dental, and 401k options. 
Responsibilities:

• Manage sales leads from the CRM system, follow up promptly, and maintain accurate records of interactions.
• Generate new leads by actively prospecting on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, and other relevant platforms.
• Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of used vehicles to determine market value and potential profitability.
• Negotiate purchase prices with sellers to ensure maximum profitability while maintaining competitive pricing for customers.
• Coordinate vehicle transportation and logistics as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of purchased vehicles into inventory and effective marketing strategies.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of the buying process.
• Utilize computer systems and software effectively to manage leads, inventory, and communication with customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive sales or purchasing preferred but not mandatory. 
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and other computer software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
