Hours & Pay:

This is a summer position with the option to join our school year team

Up to $20 per hour, pay is based on education and experience

Full-time, up to 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, June 10-August 16

Required training will take place in May and June 

Position Summary: The elementary camp director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the elementary summer camp program. Responsibilities include managing a staff team, ensuring health and safety standards are met, ensuring overall program quality, and managing the camp budget. The elementary camp director is responsible for fostering positive relationships with children, families, and community personnel.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be 21 years old
• Must be able to responsibly and safely manage a large group of children
• Is lead teacher qualified and has experience with DCF licensing
• Has a bachelor’s degree in education or related field and/or two-years of prior related experienced and supervisory experience
• Has experience supervising a staff team
