Overview:

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Baseball organization is seeking the MOST ENTHUSIASTIC staff in the Northwoods League! We are looking for friendly, motivated, team players for job opportunities at the Historic Witter Field. Our summer positions will provide you with a fun and exciting environment to earn extra money for the summer! Various positions have job specific start and end time for each game day, but typically our game day staff will be working roughly one hour before each game starts until the game ends. Games can last anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours.

This is a tipped position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. VIP Guest Services.

• Greet and welcome VIP guests upon their arrival in a warm and friendly manner.
• Provide attentive service to VIP guests throughout the game or event.
• Respond promptly to VIP guest requests and inquiries, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standard of customer service.

2. Food and Beverage Service:

• Serve food and beverages to VIP guests, adhering to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Knowledgeable about the menu and beverage offerings, including any special promotions or items.
• Ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages, adhering to all legal and organizational guidelines.

3. Maintaining VIP Areas:

• Keep the VIP areas clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Set up and break down VIP areas before and after games or events, ensuring they are ready for guests.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of tables and serving areas during service.

4. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Assist in coordinating with concessions and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Participate in pre-game briefings and post-game debriefings, providing feedback and suggestions for service improvement.

5. Inventory and Stock Management:

• Assist in managing inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies in the VIP areas.
• Report any shortages or discrepancies to the management team.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are handled properly and stored neatly.
• Ensure all food and beverage orders have been entered into the POS system at the end of each game.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be able to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Available to work during all home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be of legal (18y/o) age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Basic understanding of food and beverage service standards and safety/sanitation regulations.

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
