Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our WI DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORIES.

FTE: 1.0

*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Casual*

*Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*

Shift: 2nd shift (11:00 am - 7:30 pm; Monday - Friday)


Summary:

Floating between any of Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories’ patient service centers and collection sites, the Patient Services Float Phlebotomist collects and processes laboratory specimens and performs associated clerical functions pertaining to patient, client, and billing functions.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

2. Completion of phlebotomy course including clinicals and 1 year phlebotomy experience including adult, pediatric and geriatric draws, or

3. In lieu of education, minimum of 2 yrs. full time phlebotomy experience including a minimum of 100 draws.

4. Windows-based computer skills and also skilled in clerical functions such as telephones, e-mails, pagers, running copy and fax machines.

5. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and Department of Motor Vehicle record meeting the requirements of Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories’ Driving Record Standards policy.

6. Map reading and way-finding skills throughout Greater Milwaukee area. 7. Demonstrated complex problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills.
