The Department of Health Services (DHS) Wisconsin Resource Center (WRC) is recruiting to fill two (2) Adult Basic Education Teacher vacancies.
These positions will work Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM.

This facility is located on Lake Winnebago with beautiful walking paths by the lake for employees to use during break periods. WRC is part of the Division of Care and Treatment Services (DCTS). Pay for these positions is between $27.00 and $33.86 per hour (approximately between $56,100 and $70,400 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. Add-on pay up to an additional $2.97 per hour is available for relevant educational credits that are above those required for certification. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees is set based upon the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. These positions are in pay schedule and range 13/04.
All applicants who may be appointed to these positions will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by WRC or medical personnel approved by the facility within 30 days of the start date.
