Job Summary: The Baler Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the production floor. They assist in collecting paper scrap bins from the production floor and processing scrap through the baler machine, moving bales to designated area via forklift when complete.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Collecting scrap bins from production floor, emptying, and returning

· Processing scrap through baler, creating scrap bales and wiring bales

· Moving finished bales from conveyor to trailer via forklift

· Segregating bales based on specific procedures

· Recording production info into system, using scale when necessary

· Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

· Adhering to company rules and workplace policies

· Other duties as required

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

· Forklift experience

· Baler experience

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

· Excellent time management skills.

· Ability to function well in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

· Maintain a clean workspace

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively

· Standing for prolonged periods

· Walking production floor for majority of shift, up to 5 miles a day
