Wisconsin Aviation is Hiring an IT Specialist Near Madison, WI

Wisconsin Aviation has a unique opportunity for someone systematic in their approach to solving problems and understand a wide range of best practices that they can use to resolve common networking and hardware issues. A good candidate will have a wide knowledge base of the different systems and experience using a range of hardware and software .We mainly use Windows Based Servers and Hyper-V Virtual systems along with a mix of Linux servers and Cloud Services for specific functions. 

This employee will interact closely with people using our computer networks and systems. Our locations are Madison, Watertown and Juneau. Some travel may be involved, your home base will be in Madison.

  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
  • Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking and active listening
