Overview:
The Senior Paralegal position is key to the function of WIS International’s Legal Team. The Senior Paralegal position requires an experienced paralegal familiar with a variety of legal concepts, practices and procedures, and be generally capable of supporting the Legal Team with minimal direction. The Senior Paralegal position will report to the company’s General Counsel or Associate General Counsel.

Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; minimum of 8 years paralegal or similar experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Paralegal certification preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Computer Skills/Tools & Technology:
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vision, Adobe, and SharePoint. Willingness to learn new systems.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Sedentary work involves sitting. Walking and standing are required occasionally. Position typically requires reaching, standing, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing.
Work Environment:
Hybrid remote/office environment.
Language Skills:
Must speak and write English fluently.
Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Identify and understand the speech of another person. Communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
