```Duties``` - Coordinate and oversee the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process for patients in a healthcare facility - Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and documentation - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to gather necessary information for MDS assessments - Review medical records, conduct interviews, and observe patients to gather data for MDS assessments - Analyze patient information to determine appropriate coding and classification for MDS assessments - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to MDS assessments - Provide education and training to staff regarding MDS documentation requirements ```Qualifications``` - Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred - Current RN license in the state of [Location] - Minimum of [X] years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility - Strong knowledge of MDS assessment process and regulations - Familiarity with pediatric care, triage, tube feeding, laboratory procedures, medication administration, phlebotomy, acute care, infection control, and other relevant skills - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Athenahealth) for documentation and data entry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
