I am seeking a medical Scribe to provide excellent and timely medical documentation for my clients. The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience in providing medical documentation support for primary care and/or post-acute care physicians. I am looking for a diligent, thorough, experienced, positive and detail-oriented individual to provide quality documentation support for me as I provide quality care as an attending physician to residents in a post-acute, nursing & rehab center in the Northern Virginia, Mt Vernon Area
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating history and physicals for patients who enter the rehab facility.
- Review and document patient's medical history, diagnoses, and plans of care
- Assist with creating and maintaining timely progress notes
- Research medical terms to reduce errors in documentation.
- Review nursing notes, patient vitals, weight, blood sugar, blood pressure trends, labs and imaging results
- Finalize all H & Ps within 24 hours and progress notes within 48 hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
