RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary instruction will be within the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program and the undergraduate exercise and rehabilitative sciences curriculum. The incumbent would be expected to teach courses that may include, but not limited to: (1) MSAT Courses: Therapeutic Modalities, Therapeutic Interventions (General Medical), Pharmacology in Athletic Training, Athletic Training Clinical Experiences, Athletic Training Research; (2) Undergraduate Exercise Science Courses: Behavioral Interventions, Medical Aspects of Exercise, Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries, Advanced Fitness Programming.Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs. Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field.Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities. Contribute to student growth and development including student advising.Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community. Support Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.Direct/assist with CAATE programmatic accreditation.Support undergraduate and graduate students through advising in the pre-athletic training and graduate MSAT programs.
