POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for serving of food to exceed the expectations of our Residents and customers.

STAKEHOLDERS:

• Residents
• Resident Family and visitors
• Employees
• Investors
• Vendors

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Understand menu items
• Take food orders
• Serve food and beverages to residents and customers
• Clean tables and dining rooms
• Set tables and fold flatware
• Follow daily and monthly cleaning checklists
• Wash dishes
• Maintain kitchen and dining rooms are in a clean and orderly condition

REQUIREMENTS:

• Commitment to exceptional customer service
• Ideal candidate will have serving experience
• Works well independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the community
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
• Appropriate permits, where applicable

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Long hours are sometimes required, ability to work flexible schedule
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and push or pull up to 75 pounds
• Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment
