Overview

Wingate by Wyndham - LaGrange seeks a committed and experienced General Manager to lead our hotel operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving the hotel's financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations across all hotel departments (front office, housekeeping, sales, and maintenance).
• Ensure guest satisfaction through high standards of service and quality control.
• Develop and oversee the hotel’s financial strategy, including budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Recruit, train, and lead the hotel staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
• Spearhead marketing and promotional activities to boost hotel visibility and revenue.
• Uphold compliance with all corporate policies, brand standards, and legal regulations.
• Address guest issues and manage emergencies with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Any bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on staff development and operational excellence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with hotel management software and MS Office.
• Driver's License is required.
• Must be willing to relocate to LaGrange, GA or currently reside in the area.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
