Receiving and Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a key position on our Inventory team. As a Receiving and Transportation Coordinator at our American Canyon, CA facility.

You will manage the flow of inbound and outbound inventory transfers, coordinate pickups and deliveries with clients and carrier vendors, as well as schedule daily routes for drivers. You must be dependable, responsible, and able to work at a fast pace while always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time and committed to maintaining a high standard of work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Process inbound and outbound transfer requests submitted by clients.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Arrange transportation for inbound and outbound transfers with drivers and carrier vendors.
• Coordinate the staging, loading, and unloading of products.
• Examining inbound and outbound inventory transfers and verifying for accuracy against records such as invoices, bill of lading, and purchase orders.
• Oversee and maintain daily route for drivers.
• Work closely with Inventory and Client Services Departments to resolve any transfer issues.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Abide by all company safety and security guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

Candidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer.

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working in a warehouse and logistics environment.
• Inventory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to operate pallet jack, RF Scanners and other warehouse equipment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
