Driver & Material Handler

We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a key position on our Production team as a Driver & Material Handler at our Sherwood, OR facility.

As a Driver & Material Handler, your workload will be 50/50 of driving and warehouse work. As a Driver, you will be responsible for executing pickups, and deliveries, while maintaining an efficient daily schedule and utilization of time on the road. As Material Handler, you will be responsible for picking Inventory transfer orders, loading/unloading trucks, and other standard Material Handling duties in a manner that meets our standards for safety. security and productivity.

What you’ll be doing:

• Follow schedule and timelines of delivery and pickup requests

• Assist with any unloading protocol requested by the client – as long as within approved standards

• Maintain efficiency on driving routes by using best judgment and following pre-set routes

• Load/Unload trucks for delivery routes or carrier pickups

• Work closely with Receiving and Inventory Transfer Coordinator

• Provide excellent customer service at client locations

• Pick and prepare Inventory OUT requests

• Execute replenishments, inventory picks, and other material handler duties

• Assist with physical inventories

• Complete daily checklists of equipment for preventative maintenance

• Utilizing safety equipment and observing all safety rules and practices

• Other duties as assigned

Who you are:

Candidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer.

• At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or distribution center

• At least 1 year of Delivery Driving experience – bobtail and/or box truck preferred.

• Experience with RF devices

• Experience working in a fast-paced production driven environment

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Ability to lift heavy objects, 40 pounds

• Wine industry experience is a plus

• Able to work weekends and overtime as needed

• Reliable transportation
