Wine & Spirits Retail Marketing, Inc. is Hiring a Business Analyst (Pricing Manager) Near Providence, RI

Business Analyst - Pricing ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Business Analyst to join our team in optimizing our procurement processes and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers across our network of 15 wine and spirits retail clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Analysis & Strategy
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current procurement spend, supplier contracts, and market trends across wine, spirits, and related product categories
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to maximize cost savings while maintaining high product quality standards
  • Identify opportunities for consolidating purchases, leveraging bulk discounts, and streamlining the supply chain
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, distributors, and vendors supplying wine, spirits, glassware, bar supplies, and related products
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements that provide best value for our clients
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization
  • Develop detailed reports, business cases, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and clients
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement costs, supplier performance, and process efficiency
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier relationship management roles
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) and ERP/procurement systems
  • Knowledge of the wine and spirits industry is a strong advantage
