Windsor Windows and Doors, an industry leading window manufacturer, is currently seeking 1st shift Quality Product Tester at our West Des Moines production facility. This full-time position is responsible for testing the quality of all products.

1st shift position

Desired qualifications/skills:
· Perform both in-process and final unit inspections against specifications per sampling plan
· Work with the production team to solve quality opportunities

· Perform testing as needed on specific products
· Perform Standard Operating Procedure audits to verify they are accurate, and they are being performed correctly
· Inspect purchased materials and issue rejection reports as needed
· Perform part dimensional qualification, using statistical analysis to determine capability
· Use Microsoft Word and Excel to perform various job responsibilities
· Use of various measurement equipment-tape measure, calipers, go/no go gages, optical comparator, etc.
· Ability to interpret part prints and product specifications to determine compliance
· Good written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to work with all functions on quality improvements (manufacturing, maintenance, product engineering, materials, suppliers, etc.)
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
· Self-starter demonstrating the ability to identify and resolve opportunities with minimal direction
· Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
· Good attendance

Pay: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
