Responsibilities:

Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a Director of Risk Management

The Director of Performance Improvement (DPI)/ Risk Management & Compliance has a broad responsibility to ensure the hospital’s compliance at all times with all Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory agencies standards and requirements. The DPI is responsible for staff training and education on the hospital’s performance initiatives and measures including outcomes measurement and reporting. The Facility Risk Manager (FRM) has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss. This senior leader together with the CNO, leads the regulatory compliance program required to maintain accreditation with our various reglatory bodies: TJC, CMS and OhioMHAS.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university in nursing, or related health field is preferred. Master’s Degree preferred. Combination of education and experience considered
Professional License: RNs must have a current and valid Ohio RN license and a social worker must have a current and valid Ohio LSW
Experience: Four (4) years of experience in quality and risk management/improving organizational performance within an acute medical or psychiatric treatment setting.
Additional Reqquirements: A strong knowledge of JOINT COMMISSION, state of Missouri standards, CMS standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
