Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of medical care. Responsibilities: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Collect specimens for laboratory testing - Assist with patient transfers and mobility - Provide emotional support to patients and their families - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program - Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Cerner, eClinicalWorks) - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and empathetic nature Skills: - Experience working with behavioral health patients - Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities - Familiarity with medical records management systems - Understanding of durable medical equipment (DME) - Experience in critical care units (ICU) We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages for our employees.
