What you will do:

The Director of Nursing (DON) provides nursing and administrative direction for our entire nursing services team. Windsor is looking for a dynamic candidate with strong leadership and interpersonal skills that is knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures.

As the Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS), you will oversee the leadership and guidance of our nursing services team in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. You’ll set short and long range planning for our nursing function. You will support the best practices for the delivery of our care objectives, and participate in revision of these as necessary to ensure provision of highest quality of care to all residents.

Must haves:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Graduation from approved RN program
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California
• Current, valid CPR certification
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Would be great:

• Previous experience as DON, ADON, RN Manager
• Three to five years’ nursing supervisory experience in the provision of direct care to multiple patients/residents; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment
• Nursing degree from accredited college
• Advanced education in principles of management, as well as geriatrics or DON certification
• Experience with PCC, Kronos, PointRight

CALIFORNIA PAY TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles at American Homecare Health Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by state or local law, American Homecare Health Servicces provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that American Homecare Health Services reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, as stated below:

Pay Range: $120,000 - $135,000 annual salary DOE
