What you will do:

The primary purpose of an Administrator in Training (AIT) is to develop the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and direct the day-to-day functions of a facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities. The length of the program is dependent upon state regulations, past work experience and Administrator Preceptor evaluation(s).

Must haves:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in long-term care
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to thrive in a complex environment
  • Ability to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people professionally and respectfully
  • Ability to understand and follow regulations
  • Ability to adapt and handle pressure
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Would be great:

  • Experience in long-term care or related field with supervisory background
  • Bachelor's degree specifically in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration (or related field)

Compensation for roles atWindsor El Camino Care Centervaries depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by state or local law,Windsor El Camino Care Centerprovides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range thatWindsor El Camino Care Centerreasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, as stated below:

Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour DOE
