Windsor Care Centers is Hiring a Staff Development Coordinator Near Mount Sterling, KY

Windsor Care Center is seeking a RN Staff Development Coordinator to develop and deploy standardized education and training based on nursing process and practice. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

OUR WORKPLACE

We are a skilled nursing facility operating 24/7. Our facility is committed to providing the highest quality of care and services assuring human dignity and quality of life for our residents, their families, and our employees.

RN STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR DUTIES

  • Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs.
  • Incorporate commercially produced instruction material and training aids into existing in-service programs as deemed necessary.
  • Provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs of this facility.
  • Secure, develop and maintain records, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc., pertinent to in-service educational programs.
  • Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, class attendance and subject records, etc.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the administrator concerning in-service training.
  • Work with the facility’s consultants as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
  • Assist licensed nursing personnel (i.e., RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Aides) in obtaining in-service training to keep their license current in accordance with state law. Provide on-service training as necessary/required.

EDUCATION

  • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years’ experience in a SNF Long Term Care facility.
  • Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
  • Experience with Point Click Care
  • Must possess creativity, integrity, and initiative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
