Qualifications Education/Certification/Experience: High school diploma from an accredited high school or hold GED. Fifteen credit hours from an accredited college or university preferred. Elementary or Secondary teaching certification in a foundation subject area highly preferred. Teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Major Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Provide instruction to students. 2. Perform absent teacher’s class plan. 3. Maintain the established routines and procedures of the campus and classroom. 4. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform duties in a professional manner through daily, punctual attendance at location of work assignment. 7.
