Windham Central Supervisory Union is Hiring a World Language Teacher Near Marlboro, VT

Position: 1.5 days/week Spanish Teacher for grades K-8

Marlboro School District is a rural school in Southern Vermont serving about 80 students in grades PK-8. We have a longstanding tradition of providing a progressive, authentic learning environment. The mission of Marlboro School is to develop personal growth, creative problem-solving, and diverse means of communication in students so that they are knowledgeable stewards of their communities at home and abroad.

The Marlboro School offers financial support for classroom supplies, professional development, and teacher interest projects. Learning is what we do, and we financially support and encourage you to grow your professional practice. Project-based learning and field research are valued and will be supported by the school community. Educators enjoy immense curricular freedom here, and we encourage different ways of knowing, learning, and teaching that create communities where all students can thrive.

Marlboro School is engaged in a multi-year Restorative Practices initiative. that has included staff-wide restorative practices training which will continue until it is rooted at all levels of our community. VT Licensed World Language educator
