Wind River Outdoor Company (WROC) is a specialty outdoor retailer and fly shop, guide service located in Lander, WY at the base of the magnificent Wind River Mountain Range. With over 9000 sq feet of modern retail space and a robust ecommerce platform, WROC specializes in providing outdoor adventurers with the finest fly fishing, hunting, backpacking, camping, apparel and footwear available.

Currently, WROC is seeking a dynamic who appreciates the outdoor lifestyle, working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys outfitting customers for great adventures both in Wyoming and beyond.

This position will work in conjunction with the Retail Sales Team to:

● Demonstrate the core values of WROC in all that we do to promote an enjoyable and rewarding work environment

● Provide world class customer service to WROC customers and employ best practice sales techniques while assisting customers in purchasing products

● Maintain in depth knowledge of products and brands we carry in the store

● Assist in managing apparel and soft goods accessories such as stocking, tagging and merchandising of products

● Assist buyers in product selection to ensure WROC has the best apparel selection available for our customers

● Provide fulfillment support to the ecommerce team

● Work with the Sales Team to formulate and carry out action plans for seasonal objectives and goals for the clothing department ensuring product is reordered in a timely manner

● Previous retail experience or management experience is helpful

● Physical abilities include:

○ Being able to read, write and communicate at an acceptable level (High School graduate)

○ Ability to lift 50 lbs

○ Ability to stand for a period of time

○ Ability to go up and down stairs
