Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities involved are troubleshooting and repairing components associated sewerage pump stations (pumps, check valves, floats, etc…) 
• Confined Space Entry is required. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces as defined by OSHA regulations up to 40 feet below ground. 
• Assist in the installation, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and or rebuild of the mechanical equipment found in sewerage pump stations.
• Performs diagnostic test to determine operating efficiency of equipment, permit and other document readings, and prepares reports.
• Climb ladders; work at heights up to 20’
• Lift and move up to 65 pounds.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in maintenance and repair of pumps, valves, motors, compressors, electrical controls, piping, and plumbing is necessary. Candidates should have working knowledge and experience using tools and testing equipment applicable to pump station maintenance, including basic knowledge of electrical controls. 
• Candidates must have the ability to read and understating manuals, specifications, drawings, and follow written and oral instructions. Perform basic mathematical calculations, and basic computer skills
• Experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants must have a positive attitude, must be reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic. Applicants must be able to lift 65 pounds and carry a valid and clean driver’s license.

Requirements:

• Basic Electrical and plumbing knowledge is plus.
• Driver's License.
• DOT Med card (will assist with acquiring) 
• Ability to work and communicate well with others.
• OSHA 30 Certified (will assist with acquiring) 
• Confined Space Entry Certified (will assist with acquiring_
